The Winners And Losers Of The 2020 NBA Trade Deadline

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

The NBA Deadline is always an exciting part of the the NBA and this year was no disappointment. In this post I'll discuss the winners and losers of the NBA trade deadline. Just sit back, relax and enjoy.

I'm first going to start it off with my personal favourite trade in involving the Warriors and the Timberwolves.

When I first saw this trade I immediately had mixed opinions because of the nature of Andrew Wiggins. He's not necessarily having a bad season, but I feel people expected a little more from him considering he was playing with an inform Towns. On the bright side for the warriors they received a couple of picks which could prove to be very useful considering the fact that the Warriors are already tanking this season

For the Timberwolves though, nothing could have been more perfect. Russel and Towns are already close friends off the court which is a very good compliment to their good form this season. The Timberwoves have been trying to get D load for quite a while but unfortunately could never find a suitable trade. With this duo it seemed like both players found what they both wanted. D load has always been searching for a star level centre and the same thing for KAT. I really enjoyed the trade.

The next trade trade is the mega trade for Clint Capela. There were 4 teams involved in this trade but im only going to going to discuss the Capela trade. When this trade was released, it took many fans by surprise, simply because Capela was in good form this season.

Looking back at this trade, its crystal clear that Atlanta Hawks won this trade. They found a quality big man who they could set up with Trae Young. I will not be surprised if Trae's assists increase because of this trade. For the rockets, i personally feel this was a loss. At the time of this post, The tallest player on the Rockets lineup is six foot seven. These facts means that the rockets will struggle in the paint and will constantly be out rebounded, but I do understand why they made this trade. Harden and Westbrook are in the prime of their careers so they are obviously going to change the team so that they can win now.

All I can say from here is that I'm excited to see the second part of the season. Thanks for reading my review. Make sure to subscribe and ill see you next time.
